John Rackham as Boorman

John Rackham Studied drama at Nene College and trained as a drama teacher at Bretton Hall. In 1985 he founded the Mad Mole Theatre Co., which toured extensively throughout England. In 1992 he formed Rogues' Yarn Productions. He has adapted several Conrad stories including Heart of Darkness, Lord Jim, (commissioned by the Joseph Conrad Society) and The Secret Sharer. He also translated and adapted the Boris Vian short story Le Loup Garou. Rogues' Yarn Theatre have been going to the San Francisco Fringe Theatre Festival since 2001 - with Heart of Darkness,sketch shows Death Blow and Death Blow II and Le Loup Garou, The Werewolf. In 2006 he will be taking Exiles - the story of three English teachers in Saudi Arabia in the late 90s.
